WPL 2023 Points Table: Men’s Indian Premier League is a highly followed and loved T20 cricket league in the world. So, BCCI decided to create the Women’s Premier League; a women’s version of the IPL. In this tournament, female cricketers across the world can play together, the same as IPL for men. All plans will be divided into five teams through the auction round which has already been conducted.
The format of the tournament is also the same, each team will play twice to other teams and get 2 points for each win and 0 for loss. Also, there is a points table that shows the WPL teams standing so fans can see their team’s position on the table and calculate their chances to qualify for playoffs.

WPL Points Table will show all teams’ total played matches, wins, losses and net run rate as well. This will help you in determining which team advance to playoffs and eventually compete for the champion title.
WPL 2023 Points Table & Team Standing
A total of five teams are participating in this first-ever Women’s Premier League which is going to take place from 4 March 2023 in Mumbai. The five franchises are; Gujarat Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals and UP Warriorz.
Each team will play twice against other teams and try to earn points by winning matches so they can get a higher position in the WPL points table and qualify for the playoffs.

WPL 2023 Venues

There are only two venues for this first edition of the Women’s Premier League, so all the matches will be played on these two grounds but we can expect more venues in the upcoming editions of WPL.
These are the venues of WPL 2023:
- DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai
- Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai
WPL 2023 Format
The format for the game will be the same as in Men’s IPL; Round-robin with a group system and playoff matches. Each team will play twice against other teams and get 2 points for a win and 0 for a loss. The topper of the WPL points table will directly qualify for the Final whereas 2nd and 3rd position teams will play the Eliminator match.
The winning team of the Eliminator match will play the final against the topper team from the timetable.
